Erin Trapani, Advanced Broadcaster/Journalist
I am currently a senior here at Marist High School. I’m excited to be contributing for a fourth year to MHS Media and MHS Studio Magazine! I have been an officer of our Broadcasting Club for two years, and now serve as president of our club! I have been MMEA nominated, and I have been awarded Best Host ‘24, ‘25, and ‘26, Best Newscast ‘25, ‘26, and Best Horror Film ‘26. I am an aspiring broadcast journalist and plan to pursue this major in college with a minor in political science. Along with learning from our Emmy award-winning journalist, Ms. Carlson here at Marist, I have also attended “J Days” camp at DePaul University twice, learning from Chicago-based professionals like Carol Marin, Ben Bradley, Lisa Parker and Chuck Goudie. In my free time, I enjoy participating in the Marist Theatre Guild, vocal performance, and spending time with my friends.
