About the Contributors
Ronan Carmody, Broadcasting 2
I’m a senior here at Marist High School and after the school day I go to football practice for the Sophomores because I’m one of the managers for them. I also do Broadcasting Club because I think it’s really fun. I’m interested in a ton of pop culture franchises like Marvel, Star Wars, Power Rangers, and DC Comics. I’m taking this class because I aspire to be a filmmaker/actor. I have a huge love for movies and TV shows. Some of my favorites include Top Gun Maverick, Superman, Cars, and many more! My plan for the future is to go to DePaul University in Chicago and study filmmaking and acting because that’s my dream. A piece of advice I have for anyone reading this is that you should follow your own dream and make the best out of your life no matter the cost. Here’s a quote from a character that I look up to: “Your future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one, all of you.” -Doc Brown from Back to the Future.
Kiefer Klug, Broadcasting 2
I’m a 17-year-old senior at Marist. I’ve done Broadcasting before last year and I’m here now to help improve my skills. Outside of school, I either sit around and do nothing or I decide to be productive and enjoy some of my hobbies. My hobbies include working out, reading, writing short stories, listening to music, playing video games, building model kits, and playfully bullying my friend Ronan. I absolutely love the manga BERSERK, do not get me started on that. I do work at Midnight Terror haunted house in Oak Lawn so come visit me – or not, not my problem. I still have dreams about my fish, Oscar “Show them what the Band of the Hawk is made of!” -Griffith
Kyle Dunneback, Broadcasting 2
I am a senior here at Marist. I have done Broadcasting class before and I enjoyed it so I am doing it again. Outside of school I enjoy hanging out with my friends as well as playing golf. At Marist I do Ultimate Frisbee and Mock Trial. My goal for the future is to major or in urban studies and possibly be an urban planner.
Vinny Quiroz, Broadcasting 2
I am a junior in my second year of broadcasting and fourth year in the media program, including two years of journalism. Outside of school, I play and enjoy watching baseball. My favorite teams are the Bears and Cubs. I am unsure what my plans are after Marist but plan to go to college.
Jack Kwilose, Broadcasting 2
I’m a junior at Marist and started in Broadcasting 1 my Freshman year. Lastyear, I served as prsident of the Broadcasting Club. I am currently a student in Broadcasting 2 and still involved in the club. I also participate in Life Skills Club, Model UN, 1 Book 1 Marist, and tennis. In my free time I go out with my friends, I read history books, bake, garden, and go thrifting.
