Ms. Susan Carlson is the moderator for the Marist H.S. news site. She teaches Journalism and Media, Advanced Journalism (Honors), Broadcasting and Video Production, and Advanced Broadcasting (Honors.) She is also the moderator for the Broadcasting Club and MHS Press Club.

She joined Marist in 2022 after a lengthy career as a TV journalist in Chicago. She also has prior experience as an adjunct professor at Loyola University, Benedictine University, and Trinity Christian College.
