About the Contributors
Patrick Ready, Advanced Broadcasting Lab
I am currently a senior at Marist. I have been involved with Marist broadcasting for 3 years, taking Broadcasting 1 and 2, as well as the Advanced Lab course. Last year, I also worked as one of the analysts in the sports segment of our MHS Studio Magazine show. Besides broadcasting, here at Marist I play on the Varsity Golf team, and am in the Investment Club. Outside of school, I like to play golf, watch sports, and hangout with friends. After Marist, I plan on attending either UW Madison or Indiana University majoring in business.
Eddie Dougherty, Broadcasting 1
I am a junior here at Marist High School. I am a Broadcasting 1 student as well as a former Journalism 1 and Media student. I play varsity football and baseball. My favorite college is Ohio State and I love watching their football and basketball teams. My dream is to go into a sports broadcast related field
Claire Neely, MHS Studio
I am a freshman at Marist. I graduated from Saint Michael’s. I am in broadcasting class and club. Outside of broadcasting, I play tennis and track. I love hanging out with friends and Marist broadcasting is a fun place to get together with some of them.
Phillip Bartolini, Broadcasting 2
I’m a junior at Marist and have been involved in Broadcasting for a few years in the class and club. Freshman year I took Broadcasting 1 and now junior year I am taking Broadcasting 2. I also contribute regularly to MHS Studio Magazine with the sports segment through Broadcasting Club. Some of the things I enjoy doing outside of school are golfing, watching baseball, and hanging out with friends. I am very interested in studying business in college, but I have not decided where to attend yet.
Molly Haynes, Broadcasting 1
I am a junior at Marist High School and I am currently in Broadcasting 1, although I have been active in the Broadcasting CBrlub since freshman year. I am on the varsity tennis team playing 1st doubles, and I also do track and field, running the 200 meter and doing long and triple jump. I am also involved in Model UN club and student ambassadors here at Marist. In my free time, I enjoy riding my bike, reading, and doing puzzles. After high school I plan to major in Education and/or Communication, either becoming an elementary school teacher or a news anchor.
Sommer Bell, Broadcasting 1
I am currently taking Broadcasting 1 and in the Broadcasting Club as a freshman at Marist. I am excited to take this class because I want to be a news anchor when I’m older. In my free time I like to play volleyball, run track, watch movies and hang out with my friends. My favorite types of movies are romance, comedy and dramas. My goal while taking this class is to become comfortable talking to an audience and to talk slower and more clearly.
Katelyn Drzayich, Broadcasting 1
I am currently a freshman here at Marist and I am a broadcasting student. I play club volleyball and I race cars (pictured here with my race car). My favorite movie is Happy Gilmore and my favorite subject is history. My goals for the future are to move back to Georgia and become a crane operator.
Claire Stokes, Broadcasting 1
I am currently a freshman at Marist High School and have sixth period Broadcasting. I enjoy the class, and I’m excited to see the progress I will have made by the end of the year. I play club volleyball and I am a Libero. I also participate in multiple extracurricular activities, some of which include: Climbing, theater, and Broadcasting Club. I have also managed to successfully run my own business over the last three years. I love taking part in plays and musicals where I can sing and act. I love cheerleading, and now help coach the Oak Forest Raiders where I used to cheer. I trust in the plan God has for me, and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
