About the Contributors
George Kottaras, Broadcasting 1
I am a senior here at Marist High School. I am the head manager on our Varsity Football, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Baseball teams, the PA Announcer for a large amount of the sports here at Marist, a member of the Student Council, National Honors Society, and a Student Ambassador Officer. I am enrolled in both our journalism and broadcasting classes. I love music, sports, and hanging with friends. After high school, I plan on attending Butler University in Indianapolis majoring in sports media, and then either working as a sports reporter or as a sports announcer.
Jack Bullington, Advanced Broadcaster
I am a junior at Marist and I took Broadcasting 1 last year as a sophomore. I am a varsity baseball player and football player. Outside of Marist I enjoy watching baseball and football as I am an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Bears fan. After high school I am planning on playing college baseball or football. My favorite part about taking broadcasting is learning about what goes into the news and being able to use my creativity.
Eddie Dougherty, Sports Editor/Advanced Broadcaster
I am a senior here at Marist High School and I am currently in my second year of both broadcasting and journalism. I won the best podcast award last year for Broadcasting 1. I am proud to be the Sports Editor, as well as publish news articles here, on our award-winning news site. I currently play football here at Marist. I am the president of Student Council, a Student Ambassador, and a member of Broadcasting Club, Investment Club, and MHS Media Press Club. Outside of school I love to play golf and watch football. I am a big Bears fan and watch them every Sunday. I want to attend college next year and want to major in the sports media field. My dream is to work in sports after college.
