Connor Norris, Advanced Broadcaster
I am currently a sophomore at Marist who is in Advanced Broadcasting and Video Production. I’m involved in many different clubs here at Marist, two of which being Model UN and the Broadcasting Club. Outside of school I am heavily involved in my community and Scouting BSA where I am working towards my eagle rank. In my free time I love listening to music, being outdoors, doing photography, enjoying my time with my friends, and being there with my family.
Zachary Larson, Broadcasting 1
I am a senior at Marist High School and I am currently taking Broadcasting 1 this year. I am a varsity boys basketball manager. I am also in the Investment Club. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching a wide variety of sports, and listening to music. My favorite artist to listen to is Daniel Caesar. I also love watching movies, my favorite being Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
Samuel Popow, Section Editor
I’m a senior at Marist and took Journalism 1 last year and this year, I am enrolled in Broadcasting 1 and Journalism 2. I am also Co-Editor of the Sports Section on the MHS media website and a part of the Amnesty International club. Outside of school I love to read comic books and watch comic book movies. I also love to watch all sports and hope to be a sports commentator as a career.
Mara Drew, Broadcasting 1
I am a senior at Marist High School and I am currently in Broadcasting 1, Pickle Ball Club, and Marist Youth. I did cheer my freshmen and sophomore year at Marist, Track and Field my junior year, and I coach cheer for my local grade school. In my free time I love to swim, hangout with friends, listen to music, and go to many concerts. I love animals, especially my yellow labrador, Layla. A future ambition I have is to pursue Sports Broadcasting.
Gabriella Brouwer, Broadcasting 1
I’m a freshman at Marist High School and I participate in a lot of clubs. I am currently taking Broadcasting 1. I’ve had some practice before with having to perform in front of others from speech club at my middle school. I like to hang out with my friends and go bike riding. So far my time at Marist has been great. I’ve made a lot of new friends and get to really push myself with my school work. My dream is to go to Florida Atlantic University where I will study Criminal Psychology.
