Tech Club Learning Unity

Joseph Kratzer, MHS Media Club Writer

The Tech Club has begun its newest project and is starting to progressively teach students a game development program called Unity.

Unity is used to create and program video games from the ground up.  It is used byanyone from independent developers to major game studios. The language utilizes the C-Sharp coding language, and has been used to create notable games such as Fall Guys, Hollow Knight, Among Us, Cuphead, and Rust.

Mrs. Fey, the club moderator, says about new members, “Anyone is welcome at any point of progression, with any skill level. You may just discover a new hobby.”

Tech Club is working to create their own video game from scratch by learning every aspect of game development.

Meetings are open to anyone Wednesdays after school in CS3.
