Today is Champagnat Day which is a day full of fun activities, including a block party, raffle, and a livestream with fundraising.

As students walked in to school today, the student council cheered them on to get them excited for the day.

Marist Chicago will be going live on Instagram at 10:45, 12:00, 2:30, and 4:30.

Also, all religion periods will be having a block party full of dancing, face painting, movies, and more.

All day Marist will be taking donations in front of the cafe. There is a class raffle this year that is entered by donating. If 400 students participate, the whole school will win a donut day. Each student that enters has the chance at winning a Dunkin’ gift card along with one of the following, depending on grade level:

Freshman: $200 gift certificate to the Marist bookstore

Sophomore: Guaranteed parking spot for next school year

Junior: Free parking spot of students choice for next school year

Senior: Free prom bid

“I love Champagnat Day because of the energy, and how the students, faculty, and alumni come together to celebrate,” said Allie Bowles, Marketing Director here at Marist. “It’s exciting to see all the events and fun things students can do, and I’m anticipating that this brings us closer together as a community and shows the amazing education for young men and for young women, for current students and future students.”
