Erin Trapani, Broadcasting 2
I am currently a junior here at Marist High School. This is my third year contributing to MHS Media through our club, Broadcasting 1 and now Broadcasting 2. I have done photo journalism classes, script writing, and on-camera courses at DePaul University with professionals such as Carol Marin, Lisa Parker, and Chuck Goudie. I hope to double major in Broadcast Journalism and get my BA in Musical Arts. In my spare time, I enjoy theater, vocal performance, and playing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music on the piano.
Leo Hughes, Broadcasting 2
I’m a sophomore here at Marist, and very excited to continue Broadcasting for my second year. At Marist, I’m involved in numerous clubs and activities including the Broadcasting Club.
Grace Tresch, MHS Studio
I am a freshman here at Marist. I graduated from Mount Greenwood. I am a broadcasting 1 student and a part of the broadcasting club. I am also on the cheer team here at Marist. In my free time I like to go shopping, hangout with friends and bake.
Molly Haynes, Broadcasting 1
I am a junior at Marist High School and I am currently in Broadcasting 1, although I have been active in the Broadcasting CBrlub since freshman year. I am on the varsity tennis team playing 1st doubles, and I also do track and field, running the 200 meter and doing long and triple jump. I am also involved in Model UN club and student ambassadors here at Marist. In my free time, I enjoy riding my bike, reading, and doing puzzles. After high school I plan to major in Education and/or Communication, either becoming an elementary school teacher or a news anchor.
Claire Neely, MHS Studio
I am a freshman at Marist. I graduated from Saint Michael’s. I am in broadcasting class and club. Outside of broadcasting, I play tennis and track. I love hanging out with friends and Marist broadcasting is a fun place to get together with some of them.
Finn Daly, Broadcasting 2
I am 17 and a senior. I play Lacrosse for club and for Marist. I like to hangout with my friends and play poker with them. For broadcasting I mainly like editing and filming our projects.
Matt Topa, MHS Studio
I am a freshmen at Marist. I graduated from Most Holy Redeemer. In my spare time I like to hangout with my friends, golf, and fish. I have 2 sisters; one is now in college and one is still here at Marist, and I also have a dog named Oliver. I hope to either become a lawyer or some sort of business owner.
Colin Phelan, MHS Studio
I am a freshman at Marist. I graduated 8th grade from Summit Hill Junior High. I am on the wrestling team and I golf and fish on my free time. I have a dog named Sampson that is a Boxer. In the future I would like to go to a Division 1 college for wrestling and education. My goal for high school is to enjoy every day I am at Marist because it doesn’t last long.
Jack Hughes, MHS Studio
I am a freshman here at Marist and a part of MHS media. I graduated from Mount Greenwood last spring. I play football and lacrosse and enjoy sports and seeing friends.
Vince Curran, MHS Studio
I am in Broadcasting 1. I went to Saint John Fisher and I am now a current freshman here at Marist. I play football and like to hang out with my friends.
Max Macey, Broadcasting 2
I am a junior at Marist. I came from MPA. I like to lift and I play varsity tennis at Marist. I also like to play guitar and I’m excited for the rest of the year.
Phillip Bartolini, Broadcasting 2
I’m a junior at Marist and have been involved in Broadcasting for a few years in the class and club. Freshman year I took Broadcasting 1 and now junior year I am taking Broadcasting 2. I also contribute regularly to MHS Studio Magazine with the sports segment through Broadcasting Club. Some of the things I enjoy doing outside of school are golfing, watching baseball, and hanging out with friends. I am very interested in studying business in college, but I have not decided where to attend yet.
Hayden Krupa, Editor in Chief/Journalism 2 Writer
I am Hayden Krupa, Senior at Marist. This is my 2nd year as a writer and 1st as an editor for MHS Media. I plan to major in sports journalism and I dream to one day cover Chicago sports for a living. I also want to play college hockey. I am a student ambassador for Marist, member of NHS, 2 sport Varsity athlete in hockey and lacrosse, and the commentator for Sandburg hockey.
