Fantasy Football Style Guide Week 15 (Round 1)

Hayden Krupa, Jack Meador, and Jacob Vogel

Boom:

ESPN

Trevor Lawrence – QB – Jacksonville Jaguars

Coming off of a 33-point week, Trevor Lawrence has asserted himself among the top fantasy quarterbacks this season averaging 23.92 points in his last 4 starts. Lawrence is ranked among all fantasy quarterbacks this year and can be a certain starter for your fantasy team. Lawrence has proven himself against good defenses this year dropping ~25 points on the Ravens in week 12. Keep your eye out for a Lawrence boom in week 15 vs. Dallas.

ESPN

Jaylen Waddle – WR – Miami Dolphins

These past two weeks have been disappointing for Jaylen Waddle owners. Racking up 40 receiving yards on 3 receptions in two games. The Miami Dolphins are playing the Buffalo Bills this upcoming week and we expect this to be a close game. Tua will have to look past Tyreek Hill to have his offense succeed and looking to Waddle will do so. Expect Waddle to thrive in this game.

ESPN

Chris Olave – WR – New Orleans Saints

One of this year’s hottest rookies, and potential offensive rookie of the year, Chris Olave will take on the Atlanta Falcons in his week 15 matchup. Olave’s connection with Dalton has been on par.  Olave has been struggling against good defenses in his last few matchups against Tampa Bay and San Francisco, however he tore up the struggling Rams defense for 21.2 points prior to that. This Atlanta defense gives up the 6th most passing yards per attempt and their secondary will likely continue to struggle against Olave and the Saints.

Bust:

ESPN

Dameon Pierce – RB – Houston Texans

Dameon Pierce has been underperforming for the past 4-5 weeks. This is because the Texans are always down in games and cannot afford to run the ball. Dameon Pierce has the skill to succeed but being on the Texans drops his upside. Playing the Chiefs this week, expect Dameon Pierce to struggle finding big plays.

ESPN

Tee Higgins – WR – Cincinnati Bengals

While Higgins has been a solid fantasy receiver year-round, his health is an uncertainty. Ja-Marr Chase has returned to the Bengals as the true WR1 taking snaps away from Higgins who only had 5 targets in week 13. Higgins did not play in week 14 and is listed as day-to-day by HC Zac Taylor. Expect Higgins to get few targets on a reduced workload against the Buccaneers.

ESPN

Amari Cooper – WR – Cleveland Browns

Cooper has had a solid year in his first year with the Browns and had a solid connection with Brisset. However, since Watson’s return, the pass offense has been struggling and Cooper has been at the forefront of that.  Two consecutive weeks with less than 10 points and the Browns play a good Baltimore defense this upcoming week.  Don’t be surprised to see Cooper’s struggles continue.
