Connor Norris, Broadcasting 1
I am a freshman here at Marist High School. I am in Broadcasting 1 and I am excited to see where this takes me. I love going out and talking to people and volunteering when I can. I am involved in Scouting America and working on my eagle rank. I love camping, hiking and even just being outside. I am big into nature photography and history. I love horror movies and documentaries. Also, I love rock music like System of a Down and Lincoln Park.
Melinda Esparza, Broadcasting 1
I’m a sophomore at Marist and am currently in Broadcasting 1. I do cross country in the fall and play soccer in the spring. I also plan to participate in Marist Youth. In my free time, I like to watch all sorts of movies and TV shows. Some of my favorites are The Vampire diaries, 10 things I Hate About You, and Twilight. I like listening to music on runs with my friends and playing fetch with my dog. In the future I hope to become a detective or a psychologist.
Samuel Popow, Section Editor
I’m a senior at Marist and took Journalism 1 last year and this year, I am enrolled in Broadcasting 1 and Journalism 2. I am also Co-Editor of the Sports Section on the MHS media website and a part of the Amnesty International club. Outside of school I love to read comic books and watch comic book movies. I also love to watch all sports and hope to be a sports commentator as a career.
Mary Withers, Broadcasting 1
I am a freshman and in Broadcasting 1 at Marist High School. This is my first year doing broadcasting so I am still learning. Some of my favorite things to do are play sports, listen to music, and hang out with friends and family. Outside of school, I am involved in Marist flag football, lacrosse, and Cooking Club. My favorite type of music is country and I love making new friends.
