All freshmen will be able to cast a vote Friday, November 14 to determine who will lead their class for the 2025-2026 school year.
After the second period announcements, freshmen will receive a Google form via email where they can choose the candidates they feel are best fit for student council.
Candidates have been campaigning for the past week, which includes hanging up posters outside the cafeteria and asking their peers to vote for them.
MHS media was also able to receive a statement from each of the 20 candidates on why they feel they are best fit for the job, which can be found below.
Student council has a huge role in shaping Marist into the school that it is. Students elected will have a say in themes for football games, pep rally activities, and deciding the decorations that line the halls.
In order to ensure that the candidates are the best Marist has to offer, students running for office must have had no disciplinary issues and had to have maintained good grades throughout their short time here at Marist.
