Underclassmen and juniors have the opportunity to take their official school year pictures during their lunch periods this week in the Main Gym balcony.
“Just a reminder to make sure that students are in proper uniform,” said Yearbook Club Moderator Ms. Rita Hoffmann.
As this picture will be in the yearbook and on next year’s ID’s, Hoffmann has a few recommendations.
“I would suggest picking your favorite color, whatever you feel you look best in. I always suggest a proper night’s sleep. You want to think about the way you want to style yourself,” said Hoffmann.
Throughout the week of October 26-30, students will have their pictures taken based on their last names. (Monday: A-F, Tuesday: G-L, Wednesday: M-S, and Thursday: T-Z).
If students are absent on their assigned day, they can take it the next day.
“It is required every year to take a new picture. You don’t have to buy [the pictures],” said Hoffmann.
If students, or Marist families, would like to purchase a photo package there is still time to do so.
“I sent out an email, so you’ll just head to the link and pick your pose that you want. From there you can pick your favorite out of one of two poses,” said Hoffmann.
This year picture week is the same as Red Ribbon week, which means some students may have to bring their uniform polo to school.
“For those kids that have pictures on Wednesday, if they want to dress-down they still can. They would just have to wear either a red polo or they would need to change into a crew neck,” said Hoffmann.
