Services will be held Saturday, October 11 to celebrate the life of Trinity Eadie, class of 2025 graduate and MHS Media writer for three years. Services will be held at True Church House of Prayer 6710 S. May Street. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m.
The Marist community is in mourning as she left a lasting legacy.
“She was always so kind, very dedicated and would always go the extra mile during class,” said Spanish teacher Maria Tinoco.
During her time at Marist she was a lead contributor to the MHS Media website. Eadie took journalism classes during her sophomore and junior years, and remained an active member of MHS Media club her senior year. During her junior year she was recognized by the Scholastic Press Association of Chicago (SPAC) for Excellence in Features, with her story on use of AI in schools.
“Trinity was a very talented writer. We are grateful for her service to MHS Media as well as for the opportunity to get to know her,” said journalism teacher Ms. Susan Carlson. “She was a kind-hearted soul and we are heart-broken over her loss.”
She battled cancer her sophomore year and the disease returned recently.
“She taught me to not take our good health and our lives for granted,” said senior Clare Vitellaro
Her time at Marist will not be forgotten as she was a vital member of the school community.
“I am so grateful that she was in my life because she definitely made a huge impact on me,” said Vitellaro.
