Samuel Popow, Section Editor
I’m a senior at Marist and took Journalism 1 last year and this year, I am enrolled in Broadcasting 1 and Journalism 2. I am also Co-Editor of the Sports Section on the MHS media website and a part of the Amnesty International club. Outside of school I love to read comic books and watch comic book movies. I also love to watch all sports and hope to be a sports commentator as a career.
Mara Drew, Broadcasting 1
I am a senior at Marist High School and I am currently in Broadcasting 1, Pickle Ball Club, and Marist Youth. I did cheer my freshmen and sophomore year at Marist, Track and Field my junior year, and I coach cheer for my local grade school. In my free time I love to swim, hangout with friends, listen to music, and go to many concerts. I love animals, especially my yellow labrador, Layla. A future ambition I have is to pursue Sports Broadcasting.
Alyana Alcantar, Broadcasting 1
I am a freshman here at Marist High School. I am in Broadcasting 1, club volleyball, and planning to get more involved in RedHawk Rowdies. Outside of school, I love to hang out with my friends, do karaoke, watch movies, listen to music, and go on walks. In the future I hope to attend Columbia or Duke University to master the medical field as a pediatrician. I am excited to experience and enjoy my four years here and make new friend and memories here at Marist!
Mary Withers, Broadcasting 1
I am a freshman and in Broadcasting 1 at Marist High School. This is my first year doing broadcasting so I am still learning. Some of my favorite things to do are play sports, listen to music, and hang out with friends and family. Outside of school, I am involved in Marist flag football, lacrosse, and Cooking Club. My favorite type of music is country and I love making new friends.
