Marist High School welcomes back 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for the first shadow day of the 2025-26 school year on September 5.
“We are excited this year to introduce new or returning shadows to be able to experience what it’s like to be a Marist student,” says Director of Admissions Ms. Kelsey Callahan.
On designated Fridays, shadows are given the opportunity to follow either a freshman or sophomore student to be able to experience a typical day of what it’s like to be a Marist student.
“We really want to show our shadows what it looks like to be a RedHawk,” says Callahan.
Shadows were given the chance to either leave after 1 p.m. or stay and experience the rally excitement.
“For both the first shadow day of the year and homecoming, students are granted the choice,” says Callahan.
After this Friday, there are more opportunities to shadow.
“We are looking forward this year to all our incoming shadow days and for all our new RedHawks coming into shadow at Marist,” says Callahan.
