President Larry Tucker presented the Champagnat Educator Awards to Dan Higgins, Marlene Micetich, John Gonczy and Tom Gouterman at the all-school mass April 30. In the video, Elena Valente and Evie DiFillippo interview Gonczy and Tucker to get their thoughts on the awards.

I am a junior here at Marist and I’m in my first year of broadcasting class. I’m on the lacrosse team and I am a student ambassador. In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, and watch shows and movies. My favorite singers are Zach Bryan and Megan Moroney. My favorite movie is The Perks of Being a Wallflower and my favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother. I love hanging out with my friends and family and meeting new people. I wish to attend the University of Michigan to major in nursing.

Hi! I’m a senior here at Marist High School Chicago. I have two older siblings in college and a dog at home. I played tennis for three years and now I work after school. I love going to concerts and my favorite band is Boygenius. I’m excited for college to start the next chapter of my life!
