The RedHawks boys varsity basketball team have wrapped up a record setting season, with 31 wins and 3 losses, marking their best performance to date
The team ranked amongst the best in the state the whole season, and also defended their home turf by winning a regional title.
“Being a regional champion felt great,” said junior Ryan Lawlor. “It was truly a great season.”
The RedHawks lost a tough matchup vs Rich Township, March 5, in overtime at the sectional semifinals with a final score of 86-85.
Despite coming up short of their goal, the future still looks bright. Most of the success on the team this season came from juniors. The core of the team will be returning next season and will be playing with a state championship title in mind.
“Until next time,” said junior guard Rokas Zilys via Instagram.
