Eurovision is a movie that can never fail to make me laugh. This movie had me rolling on the floor. No matter how many times I watch this movie, it never gets old.
This film may appeal more to teenagers or young adults because there are some inappropriate jokes made. Children might not find this movie very satisfying, due to the fact that they won’t understand the humor.
Eurovision can only be watched on Netflix. I would strongly suggest this movie if you want a good laugh.
Lars Erickssong (Will Ferrell) is a goofy, immature man who has a passion for making music and his partner, Sigrit Ericksdóttir (Rachel McAdams), is extremely superstitious. They’re from a small town in Iceland, and decided to enter a music competition.
Eurovision is the best comedy that has ever been filmed. You will not stop laughing. Everything about this movie was hilarious. The actors were amazing and the perfect pick. Will Ferrell acted as an awkward middle-aged man so naturally and Rachel McAdams did a fantastic job singing.
The set of this movie was high quality. Every prop was deeply thought about and the stages they used were beautiful. In one scene, they are at a castle, and the details of landscaping, decor, and architecture are astounding. Inside the castle was filled with statues and a variety of flawless paintings.
Ferrell’s acting was on point. I don’t think any other actor could’ve done a better job. He was a fantastic fit for the part and it’s clear he felt a connection to the character.
McAdams is also so talented in this movie. Not only is she an amazing actress but her vocal skills were unbelievable. You can tell how much work she put into her performance.
I can remember the first time I watched this movie so vividly. It was on my 10th birthday and my family and I were having a movie night. My mom put on the movie because we are such big fans of Ferrell and we saw him on the cover. Not even 20 minutes into the movie we were all dying of laughter. Now I watch this movie over and over. To this day, this movie has never failed to make me laugh.
On a scale from 1-5, this movie deserves 5 RedHawks. I will never get bored of it and I will continue to watch it repeatedly. Eurovision is my all-time favorite and will definitely be hard to beat.
