How to Dress Each Day…
Tuesday – Pajamas
Wednesday – Tropical
Thursday – Jersey
Friday – Color by Grade
This Tuesday kicked off homecoming week. Each day features a new dress down theme to help build excitement leading up to the football game Friday and dance Saturday.
The RedHawks will face off against Providence at Red and White Stadium Friday night.
The themes for this week have been chosen by student council and Ms. Doyle, Coordinator of Student and Athletic Activities.
Tuesday is pajama day, Wednesday is tropical vacation day, Thursday is jersey day, and Friday is color by grade. Freshman will wear gray, sophomores are white, juniors are red, and seniors black.
Teachers are also encouraged to participate during the week.
“It would actually be more fun too if the teachers participate,” said Doyle.
The underclassmen homecoming dance took place Saturday, September 28. The upperclassman dance will be Saturday, October 5. The week in between is set aside to build school spirit with fun activities.
“The homecoming theme for both dances will be ‘Red Carpet’… to have a little red carpet moment to hype up the dresses and suits,” said Doyle.
The Pom and Dance team is also holding a fundraiser this week. Students are encouraged to bring in a dollar to vote for their favorite teacher who will dance at Friday’s homecoming pep rally.
