Marist will honor 24 new Hall of Fame members at Red and White Stadium on Friday at half-time during the third football game of the season.
The inductees include the 2002 boys volleyball program coach Jordan Vidovick, coach Brendan Heffernan, Maryclare Leonard, Jeremy Nash, and Thomas Epich.
Each of these inductees are Marist graduates who have excelled in their careers and lives beyond their time as a student. Being in the Marist Hall of Fame is a great honor, as they will be remembered forever as true RedHawks.
“To be selected you’ve done some absolutely tremendous things. People submit applications online though the Marist website and as a committee we pick out the inductees,” said administrator Pat Dunne.
The undefeated Marist football team will then play their third game of the year against undefeated Montini High School.
“Montini is a good football team, they’re a team who’s going to compete for a state championship so it’s going to be a good challenge for us,” said head coach Patrick Fitzgerald.
