The entire student body came together to celebrate the first mass of the school year Wednesday, September 11 in Marist’s main gym.
Father Hurley ’85 told students to “go out and be helpers” in the world, just like the heroes who saved lives on September 11, 2oo1.
New Choir Director Anslee Rainwater led the congregation in song, with help from some student athletes. Student participation in singing was much improved from last year. Marist RedHawk football players joined the choir in leading the school community in song.
