Book Sale Underway in the Arc

The ARC is holding a book sale with proceeds going to the 1 Book 1 Marist Club. It will benefit future events that are held and author visits.

One book is $3 and three books is $6. There are also a wide range of genres to choose from. From adult fiction, all the way to picture books for children, no matter the age, there is something that can be of interest.

“There’s plenty of reason to participate in the book sale,” said Mrs. Rademacher. “It funds any author events or field trips that we go on. The prices are low, and there’s plenty of content so we have something for everyone.”

Students who want to purchase books can leave a sticky note with their name on it and the book of your choice at Mrs. Rademacher’s desk at the front and then pick them up and pay later.

My name is Trinity Eadie, and I’m a senior here at Marist. I was in journalism 1 and journalism 2, so I’ve been writing for a while. Now I contribute to MHS Media through the club. I like to read books in all genres. I like to make creative writing stories for fun. I enjoy watching horror movies and 90’s sitcoms. I like listening to music by the band Her's. My dream is to write a book one day.

Hayden Krupa, Editor in Chief/Journalism 2 Writer

I am Hayden Krupa, Senior at Marist. This is my 2nd year as a writer and 1st as an editor for MHS Media. I plan to major in sports journalism and I dream to one day cover Chicago sports for a living. I also want to play college hockey. I am a student ambassador for Marist, member of NHS, 2 sport Varsity athlete in hockey and lacrosse, and the commentator for Sandburg hockey.

Cassidy Cage, Journalism and Media 2 Writer

My name is Cassidy Cage and I’m in the class of 2026. This is my second year in journalism. I’m a student-athlete at Marist and I play volleyball and softball. My favorite place to travel to would be Florida because I love all the amusement parks and beaches! This year, I’m looking forward to writing about all sorts of things and I can’t wait for you guys to see all my work!
