The Marist Math Team pulled an amazing win last weekend during their math competition.
“It went very well, and we placed first in almost every competition,” said Michael Alfano.
Although the math team had a victory, they also had a rocky start.
“On our way there, our bus broke down on the side of I-294,” said Alfano. “But it was okay and we all got home fine.”
“Someone was two hours late and missed the competition,” said Danny Deacy. “We still steamrolled every other team.”
The team will be competing in regionals at the end of February.
“We have regionals coming up at Crete-Monee High School, and we’re going to do great,”
said Cecilia Lyndokken.
